We have two distinct versions: the Park Adventure and the DaVinci Adventure. See the sites currently available for DIY below.
Park Adventures
For the last 25 years we have been bringing our Treasure Hunt Adventures to Fortune 500 companies in local parks, usually the iconic park of that city. Central Park in NYC. Balboa Park in San Diego. The Capitol Mall. We have been to them all and we know the ropes, especially the best place to stage the event (ease in travel, rest rooms, refreshments.)
DaVinci Adventures
In 2006, on the heels of the successful book and film, we created the first DaVinci Adventure in NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. Ten years later we have led team builders in over twenty of the top museums in the country. Now we offer them to you as the perfect way to energize your meeting
Designed For You To Run
Complete instructions will help you run your team builder. Plan your day accordingly. Many like to have a meeting in the morning and after lunch they head to the park. We also offer Video Chat assistance (for a fee) for all aspiring team builders in your company.
What You Get
After purchasing it in our store with credit card or PayPal, you will download PDFs that contain everything you need to deliver a successful event. You will purchase ONE Facilitator Package ($295) which is good for ONE team and has all the instructions for the facilitator (you). For additional teams, purchase the “Additional Teams” package ($99). These low prices allow you to run a successful team builder for a group seven teams for under $700. We suggest 5-7 per team but of course, you are the leader and can raise or lower those figures.
How They Work
At the heart of each package is a map of the park or museum with arrows indicating the checkpoints or clue sites that must be visited. The actual questions will be sent via email to you and your team leaders (you will supply those emails after the sale.) Each will then receive (within 24 hours of the event) a Google map invitation. This map link will have the all-important questions that go with the checkpoints. This works for parks as well as museums. The downloaded map will have more accuracy but when used together with the Google map, you will have all you need to hunt.
Hunts are competitive but we don’t suggest a race, especially in the museums. Accuracy is imperative and enjoyment of the park or works of art is a valued by-product. Some hunts will end with an answer that will lead teams to a secret place, others with points that must be scored.
Included in each package is:
- Custom Map with clue locations
- How It Works
- FAQ
- Google Map Link (personalized)
- Worksheet for the Hunt
- Extra info about the park
All you need to supply are pencils, clipboards and print-outs of the maps. Prizes are common and many companies utilize gift cards. But “bragging rights” is usually enough. A winning picture to be passed around the office is worth much more than a few cups of coffee.
