In November of 1874, the New York Herald shocked the city and the world with a front page story on the escaping wild animals from the Central Park Zoo. The details of the rampaging violence these beasts produced set the city into a mild panic. Armed search parties patrolled midtown looking for Bengal tigers and wild rhinoceros. Mothers pulled their children out of schools and everyone hunkered down until they were certain the horror was over.
It was all a hoax – but a hoax perpetrated to awaken the population to a disaster that could happen.
Well…it is happening again! The animals are loose and you must escape the park before tragedy strikes (or in 3 hours, which ever comes first.)
Use the map to solve the clues to answer the riddles to assemble the puzzle.
